Rockman Pokémon is a long-running game series created by the teamwork of Ian James Corlett and Satoshi Tajiri. The video game series would later be receive an anime series, OVAs, a number of movies, some specials, and manga series. Widely acclaimed, it is one of the most popular franchises ever known,.
The story follows a young boy named Ash Ketchum who begins a journey with his Pokémon partner, Pikachu (who prefers outside of his Poké Ball), as he seeks to become a Pokémon Master. Along the way, he meets a young robot master named Rockman as one of the central protagonists, as Ash works his way through the ranks of the world's many Pokémon Leagues.
The series detail Ash, Rockman and their allies' journeys of, various Pokémon Gym Leaders, meeting up with many other friends, both Human, Pokémon and Robot Masters, and attempts to save their worlds from various threats, like the nefarious crime organizations such as Team Rocket, and primarily the scientific evil genius Dr. Wily, the main antagonist of the series. Dr. Wily's aim is to rule the planet; to achieve this, he usually attempts to destroy Rockman and to acquire the powerful Special Weapon.
